I quite like the theme here at macintoshhowto.com. Last year I decided to make the theme of available as a free theme for any other websites to use. I went to freelancer.com and I paid for my theme to be updated so as to allow me to offer it for free at wordpress.org.
It’s now over a year later and I am in a legal battle with freelancer.com to either get the theme finished or get a refund of my money. I went through our local fair trading department and Freelancer were unmoved. Fair Trading referred me on to a tribunal. The first tribunal hearing was last week and Freelancer didn’t even show up!
I’m just putting this information out there so that if anyone is considering using freelancer you can hear a view from someone who didn’t find them so useful.
